Rukon, who had gone ‘missing’ two days ago, was found at the Kalighat Union Parishad offices around 1pm on Wednesday, said Moulvibazar Superintendent of Police Shahjalal. A microbus dropped him off at the local Katiatala tea gardens, the mayor told the media at Srimangal Police Station. “I received a call from the Union Parishad secretary and went to speak to him. There didn’t seem to be any other medical problems.”Rukunuzzaman Rukon is also the Sarishbari Municipality Awami League vice president. According to his elder brother Md Saiful Islam Tukon, Rukon went missing from Uttara on Monday morning.
