Deborah McIvor said on Thursday her daughter, Cheyanne, was last seen by friends in the Queensgate mall in Lower Hutt about 2pm on Tuesday. A man, identifying himself as Cheyanne's father, contacted Stuff.co.nz on Friday to say that she was in fact not missing and everything had been sorted out with police. Police said they had met with her in Palmerston North, where she had been staying with a relative.
