Miss Universe Philippines calls on Filipinos to support Rabiya Mateo as she vies for the country's fifth Miss Universe crown. For the evening gown competition, Rabiya sashays in a bright yellow sequined gown with a train, designed by Middle East-based Filipino designer Furne One. Yellow flatters her morena skin tone. The design, Furne One hinted in his Instagram stories, is inspired by the sun, a focal point in the Philippine flag and a nod to Rabiya's flag-inspired national costume.
