Miss United States Lindsey Coffey was crowned Miss Earth 2020 on Sunday in a historic win for being the first American candidate to win the 19-year-old Philippine-based title. Miss Denmark won the title Miss Earth Fire 2020, Miss Philippines Roxie Baeyens, Miss Earth Water 2020; and Miss Venezuela, Miss Earth Air 2020. Twenty-eight-year-old Coffey, who succeeded Nellys Pimentel of Puerto Rico, was in tears after the results were announced. Meanwhile, Baeyens took to social media to share how grateful she is for her runner-up win and her journey through the competition. I have so much gratitude for the Miss Earth Organization who helped me find who I truly am and what I am destined for.
