Of the three states that gave Trump the nod toward the White House, only Wisconsin flipped this year. In October 2019, there were 39,966 visas issued worldwide, 2,191 to Philippine immigrant visa applicants. In May (just three months after proclaiming immigrants to be job-grabbers and competitors of American workers), the immigrant visas issued worldwide dropped into the visa abyss at 697. At the end of Fiscal Year 2020, immigrant visas issued worldwide inched up to 14,896 (462 for Philippine applicants). Biden may have won the battle, but the war is still raging in a Dis-United States.
