Abdul Bari, a former Union Parishad member and owner of the mango orchard, said he did not have enmity with anyone. Bari has been involved with growing mango for the last several years. He planted 105 mango plants of Bari-4 variety on his two bigha of lands last year that were cut down by miscreants on Tuesday night, reports UNB. Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Manirampur police station, said necessary legal measures would be taken after investigation if they get complaint regarding the matter.
