The ministry said the Royal Thai Embassy in Lima, which oversees affairs in Venezuela, is maintaining close communication with Thai nationals in the country and has prepared assistance measures should conditions deteriorate. The ministry also advised Thais to closely evaluate the situation and reconsider non-essential travel to Venezuela until tensions ease.
