“There are many elderly employees who do not have the ability to work anymore at Biman. Dismiss them with honour and appoint young and energetic people,” the minister told a programme at the Dhaka Reporters Unity on Tuesday. The 68-year-old minister, however, did not specify what the minimum age to avoid the elderly tag was. Minister Kamal said there were allegations against Biman of delay in delivering luggage. The minister said the government will take step to thist end after consultation with the parliamentary standing committee on the ministry.
