Police in Migori have launched investigations into the death of a Form 4 girl whose badly mutilated body was found in a thicket at Puche village. Nyatike Deputy County Commissioner Paul Langat said Adhiambo’s body was discovered in a thicket by a woman who was out fetching firewood. Langat said after the student’s body was discovered and the matter reported to police, the boyfriend was found dead in an abandoned house. Police reports indicated that the mutilated body of the student had burn wounds and bruises on the face, hands, stomach and legs. The body was taken to Migori Referral Hospital mortuary awaiting post-mortem examinations as the minor is expected to be charged.
