The Summit explored the emerging technologies, developments, latest trends and new opportunities within financial institutions and insurance companies throughout East Africa. “Financial institutions like banks need to think about how to use technology to create new opportunities and drive customer growth. Forward-thinking banks should be adopting cloud technologies such as ‘hybrid’ to reduce costs, analyzing data to create more personalized services, and using customer-focused channels to effectively reach their customers”.
