Michael Venus and partner second seeds for ASB ClassicDAVID WHITE/ STUFF Michael Venus should benefit from a good draw at the ASB Classic by being the second seed, along with his partner Raven Klaasen. Michael Venus and his new doubles partner Raven Klaasen from South Africa will be the No 2 seeds for the men's ASB Classic in Auckland next month. Classic tournament director, Karl Budge confirmed on Wednesday that all three had made the cut, which means he still has the two doubles wildcards up his sleeve. Venus won the Classic in 2016 with Mate Pavic from Croatia, Sitak is a two-time semifinalist, in 2016 and 2017, while Daniell won the tournament in 2011 and also made the semifinals the last two years. The men's ASB Classic begins on January 8 and is preceded by the women's tournament.
