HELEN KING/STUFF 30 fire crew have contained the scrub blaze along rail tracks adjoining Waikumete Cemetery. Initially the fires' proximity to the western rail line meant Auckland Transport were forced to cut electricity to the overhead power lines. Auckland Transport spokesman Mark Hannan said rail services weren't affected because the line had already been closed for maintenance.
