VANCOUVER—Just as the city’s threat of a bus strike ended roughly a week ago, the SkyTrain may be next. On Friday, the union representing SkyTrain workers issued a 72-hour strike notice. CUPE 7000, the union representing roughly 900 SkyTrain workers, said there was no significant progress made on key issues after four days of mediation and more than 40 days of direct bargaining with BC Rapid Transit Company.
