Lee Hinehou Hare was formerly employed as an executive administrator by Te Kāhui o Taranaki Iwi Trust. On Thursday, the New Plymouth District Court heard how methamphetamine abuse had been behind the workplace theft, offending Hare had been extremely embarrassed about. The general manager would then approve invoices for payment, money of which would go directly into a supplier's bank account. Three months later, the trust was contacted by a creditor who informed it about the non-payment of an invoice.
