Central Otago District Council's outgoing chief executive Leanne Mash attended her last council meeting on Wednesday before finishing work on Thursday. Mayor Tim Cadogan said at the meeting Mash had spent the past three years transforming the council into a "well-oiled, customer-focussed machine". Allowing traders to choose if they want to open on Easter Sunday or not, was another of many highlights she recalled before signing off and handing the reins over to incoming chief executive Sanchia Jacobs who starts on February 12.
