Messi scores four as Barcelona march on at top of La Liga

Barcelona maintained their 100 per cent record at the top of La Liga on Tuesday night thrashing Eibar 6-1 with Leo Messi scoring four goals. Messi opened the scoring from the penalty spot on 20 minutes after Alejandro Galvez had bundled over Nelson Semedo. Denis Suarez scored the third himself after Messi's shot had been saved by Eibar keeper Marko Dmitrovic. On 62 minutes Messi completed his hat-trick from Paulinho's pass and with three minutes left he scored again from Aleix Vidal's cut-back to complete the rout. Under pressure Malaga coach Michel was asked about the possibility of losing his job after the awful start to the season.
