KUALA LUMPUR: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) today launched the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+. The most powerful E-Class ever is being offered at a price of RM998,888 (on-the-road, inclusive of GST, but without insurance). The new model was launched by Mark Raine, vice president of sales and marketing, passenger cars, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia at a launch event here. The E 63 S is powered by a 4.0 liter twin-turbocharged V8 that generates 612 hp and 850 Nm of torque.This propels the E 63 S to 100kph in 3.4 seconds. The new E-Class is equipped with an AMG Speedshift MCT nine-speed sports transmission specially tuned with reengineered hardware and software.
