A number of House of Representatives' (HoR) members in Tobruk called for pulling out from the Libyan Political Agreement (LPA) of Skhirat, Morocco, which was brokered by the UN on December 17, 2015. The members said in a statement on Sunday that they are in support of the military operations led by Khalifa Haftar and will back him until he defeat terrorism and then builds a civilian state in Libya. "We warned against the LPA many times and we said that such an agreement will take away the legitimacy that should be only gotten from the Libyan people via elections." The HoR members added. HoR members in Tobruk are starch supporters of Haftar and some of them have in the past suggested doing away with all entities in Libya and handing power to Haftar.
