MELAKA: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron (pix) has assured parents of SRK (T) Kubu here that he will personally look into the "sudden" transfer of its headmaster. "I will personally meet the headmaster to get more information on the individuals who allegedly attempted to misuse their power to transfer him," he said on Monday. On Sept 24, The Star reported that a group of parents and teachers of a Tamil school here were upset over an abrupt transfer of the headmaster. They felt that the headmaster concerned, A. Asogan, had been effective in bringing many changes to SRK (T) Kubu. Some were emotional during the telephone interviews, describing Asogan as a "friendly and caring" person who helmed the only Tamil school in the heart of the city.
