Former KTN star journalist Fayyaz Qureishi was unveiled to fill up the shoes of the late Catherine Kasavuli at KBC. Qureshi was unveiled as part of the star-studded legend Edition in July 2021 which was led by Kasavuli. He joined the media industry in 1990 as a news anchor at KTN where he co-anchored with Kasavuli who had joined from KBC. In July 2021, Kasavuli and Qureshi had a reunion when the former created a Legend Edition at the National Broadcaster. He is expected to become the face of the Legend Edition with the aim of filling the shoes of the departed star who mentored him 32 years ago.
