The player transferred to the Mauve and Yellows before the start of the 2019-20 Ghana premier league season from division one side, New Edubiase. In an interview with Truth Radio NY, Prince Opoku Agyemang has disclosed that there were approaches made by Ghana Premier league heavyweights Asante Kotoko and 2 time league winners Aduana Stars to sign him. “I opted for Medeama SC because of playing time and I think I made the best choice” he concluded. Prince Opoku Agyemang got off to a flyer in the 2019-20 season; despite playing in his debut campaign for Medeama SC, he netted 11 times in 13 games winning 5 MVP Awards.
