Fairfield College principal Richard Crawford took the same stance and requested staff and students provide paperwork to prove their vaccination status. Previously staunch anti-vaccination families have changed their tune after several people have been infected with measles following an outbreak in the Waikato. One of the first cases of measles was a student at Nga Taiatea Wharekura, who attended school while infectious.
