Hamilton defender Scott McMann is pleased to be able to focus solely on his performances on the pitch after securing his long-term future earlier this month. McMann was happy to get the deal over the line so that he can give his full attention to football. He said: “It’s sort of been in the pipeline for a little while but I’m happy to get it finalised so I can just focus on football now. “When I saw the players we’ve brought in and the players we’ve managed to keep I was always confident we were going to have a decent season and we’ve started reasonably well so it’s going to plan. McMann knows the Saints will be heading into the game with their eyes firmly fixed on ending that winless run.
