The FAI have a real decision to make on the position of Ireland manager, if what are now the Euro '21 play-offs go ahead and Ireland win. I was never a fan of the Euros being spread over 12 cities and that’s looking like a very bad idea now. If Stephen had a year to prepare for the Euros in 2021, that’s a full year to prepare for the finals. I am just relieved I don’t have to make that decision. Delaying the Euros for a year really has created a worst-case scenario for them.
