KUALA LUMPUR: Damaged sewer pipes near the Azalea Apartments in Kampung Penchala may be the cause of the landslide which took place earlier Friday (Oct 11). Drains near the landslip site will also be diverted while the sewer pipes that have broken are being fixed. More than 10 police officers were also spotted guarding the apartments after all 65 residents vacated their homes. The residents have been transferred to a neighbouring community hall in Sungai Penchala until Ikram completes its preliminary report.
