Police have linked Mavoko MP Patrick Makau to the arson attack at Syokimau Administration Police camp on Wednesday that saw holding cells razed by a mob. A group of bodaboda riders on Wednesday afternoon rode from Mavoko to the Syokimau AP camp and set the cells on fire. The Syokimau Residents Association has condemned the burning of the AP camp saying the act now exposes them to danger. A team of detectives handling the matter said they were under pressure to look for the MP and some of his handlers.
