Investigation showed that Nazer, a native of Lanao del Sur in southern Mindanao, was running a cellphone accessories shop at the Batangas City Public Market. The suspect was observed to be evasive since he frequently transferred from one stall to another. “We shall not remain complacent [about] possible terrorist attacks coming from these people. I appeal to the public to remain calm and report suspicious person and actions so that we could avoid worst incidents and go after [other] suspects,” Carranza said.
