Manny Pacquiao’s sparring partner George Kambosos Jr. said that the Filipino ring icon could crash through the defense of Lucas Matthysse using his speed and power when the two meet for a world title showdown on July 15, at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. “I believe Manny (Pacquiao) can knock Matthysse out,” Kambosos Jr. told The Manila Times via online interview from General Santos City. “Matthysse’s defense is not superb and he relies only on his offense. This is perfect for a fighter like Manny Pacquiao.”“Pacquiao’s hand speed, combination punching, and power will lead to a knock out over Matthysse. Besides Kambosos, Pacquiao’s other sparring partners are lightweight Leonardo Doronio, welterweight Arnel Tinampay and lightweight Anthony Marcial.
