KUALA LUMPUR: Kedah football coach, Nidzam Adzha Yusoff has lodged a police report against a social media user who claimed that he and six state football players were involved in match-fixing during the recent Malaysia Cup match. Nidzam's lawyer, Datuk Iszam Kamal said they have identified the perpetrator, identified as Wanjern via his Facebook account. He said following this, Nidzam will also lodge a report with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). Wanjern, in his Facebook post, had claimed that his analysis showed certain listed names were involved in match-fixing and that the future of Kedah football team "would be damned". It had also called up several Kedah players to investigate on the match-fixing claim.
