more-inA Delhi government clerk suspected to be the mastermind of a crime syndicate helping candidates cheat on the online exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has been arrested, said the police on Sunday. With the arrest of 33-year-old Harpal Singh on Friday, the total number of gang members arrested in the case has reached 10. The gang members used to assist candidates via a remote-access application. During interrogation, the police found that the gang would hack into the online system and assist candidates taking the exam. The SSC outsources the conduct of the exam to computer labs and the gang had allegedly developed a network with several of the labs and the exam centres.
