Amazon has received 238 proposals from cities, counties and regions from across North America for its second headquarters, the online retail giant said on Monday. Sun Corridor Inc, a southern Arizona company, sent a 21-foot Saguaro cactus to Seattle just a week after the Amazon announced its amazonhq2 RFP in September. The Saguaro is the largest cactus in the United States, capable of growing up to 60 feet tall. Jim Watson flew to Seattle last week to see for himself what his city was up against. “It’s like ‘The Amazing Race,” he told the New York Times.
