Narail Awami League President Subash Chandra Bose collected the form for Mashrafe from Narail Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner Anjuman Ara on Sunday. Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader says that confirmation letters will be sent to ‘about 230’ candidates for the 300 seats up for grabs in the election. On Nov 11 Mashrafe collected a nomination paper for the Awami League and met with prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. On Nov 20, Road Transport Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said that Mashrafe would run under the boat symbol. “Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given Mashrafe the boat symbol,” said Narail District Awami League President Subash Chandra Bose.
