Maruti Suzuki India Ltd – country’s largest vehicle manufacturer – on Monday announced increase in the prices of its products, in the range of 0% to 4.7%, due to hike in input cost. The company though did not specify the product wise increase in prices. “Maruti Suzuki India Limited today announced a price change for select models owing to increase in input costs. The New Delhi based vehicle manufacturer, on December 3, 2019, announced that it will increase prices of its products from January but didn’t specify the quantum of increase in price. Automakers usually make price increase announcements to attract customers and reduce stocks at dealerships at the end of the calendar year.
