In a special weather bulletin on Friday, the Met Office also said the depression is likely to intensify. It was about 1,345km South-Southwest of Chittagong port, 1,270km South-Southwest of Cox's Bazar port, 1,325 km South of Mongla port and 1,285km South of Payra port at 6pm. A mild heat wave sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Madaripur, Rangmati, Rajshahi, Pabna, Barisal and Patuakhali may abate from some places. The day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. Besides, the highest rainfall was recorded in Ishurdi upazila of Rajshahi division.
