In Bogra, two children drowned to death in a pond in Islampur Kha para area in Dupchanchia upazila at noon. The deceased identified as Nirob Khan, 4 and Mobasshira Khan,4 were cousins, said Dupchanchia police station (OC) Mizanur Rahman. In Madaripur, a 5-year old child drowned to death in a canal in Charfatehabad village of Kalkini upazila. Regarding the matter, Kalkini Upazila Health Complex on-duty doctor Sajib Bhakta said: "The child was dead when brought here."
