One of those games is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. The last time a Call of Duty game was free on Sony's Plus service was when Black Ops 3 was released for free back in June of 2018, just months before the release of Black Ops 4. Black Ops 4 was formally announced on March 8th, and we typically see announcements for Call of Duty games around the same time. I think it's no accident that Modern Warfare is the free game for March. It'll get more gamers playing the modern classic just in time for the announcement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
