Should we also charge the likes of Coca-Cola who put New Zealand water into a bottle and sell it back to us? Many of the critics who want a charge on water are saying that all commercial users of water must pay for it. But urban charges for water are to cover the infrastructure required to get the water through the taps, not for the water itself. Good luck to the government that tries to put water charges into place and tries to decide where the line is drawn.
