Cadre of the banned CPI (Maoist) killed two tribals in Veeravaram village in Chintapalli mandal in Visakhapatnam district late on Wednesday. The Maoists also severely beat up another tribal named Pangi Linga. Sharat was killed by an irate tribal mob in Veeravaram village when he and three others had killed a tribal priest named Sanjeeva Rao on October 20, 2014. In the attack on the Maoists by the tribals in which Sharat was killed, another Maoist Kora Nageswara Rao escaped with injuries. Police sources say that Wednesday’s killing was led by Kora Nageswara Rao in retaliation.
