Photo : BSSKHULNA, April 11, 2026 (BSS) - Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Administrator Nazrul Islam Manju has urged authorities to ensure full coverage of the ongoing measles-rubella (MR) vaccination campaign to protect children's health. He said the government remains committed to safeguarding children through regular immunization programmes conducted nationwide under the Expanded Programme on Immunization of the Directorate General of Health Services. Manju made the call while inaugurating a training workshop for health workers at the City Health Building in Khulna. Officials said the MR vaccination drive in Khulna will run from April 20 to May 20, targeting children aged 6 to 59 months. The workshop was organized by KCC's health department with support from the Directorate General of Health Services.
