Yirenkyi joined Danish side Nordsjaelland in 2024 from Ghana’s Right to Dream Academy and quickly established himself as a key figure in the team. In his debut season, he registered two goals and two assists in 17 appearances, showing glimpses of his all-round midfield quality. Capable of operating both as a midfielder and in defensive roles, Yirenkyi’s versatility has further enhanced his reputation. His impressive club form earned him a call-up to Ghana’s Black Stars for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers under Otto Addo, where he made four appearances.
