If they buy Dybala, United may be unwilling to match Leicester’s valuation of Maguire Michael Regan/Getty ImagesManchester United are still some distance away from securing the signature of Harry Maguire because Leicester City are demanding £95 million for the England defender. It had been widely reported that Leicester’s asking price for Maguire, 26, was £80-90 million, but the Midlands club want even more for the centre back, asking for £85 million up front and a further £10 million in add-ons. Manchester City are also interested in Maguire but they too are refusing to meet Leicester’s asking price. Both clubs have less than a week to persuade Leicester to drop their asking price as the transfer window closes on Thursday at 5pm. Discussions between Ed Woodward, United’s executive vice- chairman, and Paulo Dybala’s representatives are set to continue today.
