Germany midfielder Ilkay Gundogan and Spain forward Nolito have already joined City this offseason as Guardiola begins reshaping the squad. Guardiola had a trial at City in 2005, when Stuart Pearce was the manager, but wasn't offered a contract. City will be the biggest challenge of his career, though, given the strength in depth of the Premier League.
