MELAKA: A 26-year-old fisherman with drug convictions was arrested by the police here for alleged involvement in trafficking drugs around Alai in Jasin here. He said checks at his home led police to the discovery of a bag filled with transparent plastic packets containing substance believed to be drugs. "We also found another transparent plastic bag containing heroin and syabu," he said. Arshad said the man had a record of 12 drug-related offences and his urine also tested positive for drugs. "We will investigate the case under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 (drug trafficking) and Section 15(1)(a) of the same act (for administering drugs to himself)," he said.
