Al, aged 49, said: "My vice was always Diet Coke. So I went cold turkey four weeks ago, and I've not had a Diet Coke since". Al reckons he has drank 32,850 litres of Diet Coke over three decades and spent around £1,000 a year on cans. "I always used to drink Diet Coke as a way to fill me up when I was on a diet, as it's got no calories. I've noticed a massive difference in my general health by stopping drinking Diet Coke."
