Azimio leader Raila Odinga has arrived in Homa Bay for the Luo Piny 2023 Cultural event. The leaders include Siaya Governor James Orengo, Migori Governor Ochilo Ayacko and the host Governor Gladys Wanga among political leaders and stakeholders across the region. The event is currently going on as planned despite a court order issued by a Siaya court stopping the activity. The application filled under a certificate of urgency to stop the process was done before Justice Daniel Odumbe. The petition was filed by nine people, Nyandiko Ongadi, Thomas Achando, Silas Olala, Okeyo Abebe, Oduogo Gwena, Margaret Nyambok, Felix Okal, Pius Odote and Stephen Oludhe.
