(File photo)An aggressive patient fled hospital only to be arrested after stealing an Eftpos machine from a McDonald’s restaurant, but that was not the end of the bizarre offending. The incident unfolded at Dunedin Hospital when a 27-year-old refused to leave after being treated on Tuesday about 9am, Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen said. Police were later called about a trespassed male fitting his description who had become aggressive at the McDonald’s on George St. The man stole an Eftpos machine and left the scene.
