(File photo)A man is believed to have cut off his hand with a skill saw at a pallet making business in Christchurch. Emergency services were called to Southern Pallets on Calgary Place in Hornby just after 10.30am on Friday. A St John media alert said the man was taken to Christchurch Hospital and was believed to be in a critical condition after cutting off his hand with a skill saw. A Southern Pallets spokeswoman declined to comment on Friday afternoon.
