A 34-year-old woman suffered 70% burn injuries after her live-in partner set her on fire on Monday evening in Vasai while blaming her for cheating on him. The neighbours heard her cries and admitted her in a Vasai hospital, which referred her to Shatabdi Hospital in Kandivli. Anita Wankhede, 34, a mother of four, was in a live-in relationship with Manoj Chaure and they had been living in a chawl in Vasai since March 2017. Anita and Chaure often fought over this and to cover up the affair she used to say that Baburao was her brother,, said Hazare. Chaure and Baburao both are absconding,” said Hazare.
