Man pinned in Mississauga crash airlifted to hospital


A 23-year-old man has been airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital with serious injuries after he was pinned under a truck in Mississauga early Friday. Peel Regional Police said a minivan collided with a truck at Derry Road West and West Credit Avenue near Mississauga Road. Ornge air ambulance airlifted the injured man to a Toronto area hospital. Firefighters used air bags and the jaws of life to extricate him. Derry Road West is closed from Syntex Court to Mississauga Road as police investigate.
