A St John spokeswoman said the man was taken to Dunedin Hospital by St John ambulance in a critical condition. The man was run over by a tractor or a ride-on lawnmower, the police spokeswoman said. Two police cars were at the property and an ambulance left with its lights on at 4.45pm.
